The Environmental Awareness course trains seafarers and maritime personnel on their obligations under international environmental regulations, with a focus on pollution prevention at sea.
What You Will Learn
- MARPOL Annexes I–VI: oil, noxious substances, sewage, garbage, and air emissions
- Shipboard environmental management procedures
- Garbage management plans and record-keeping requirements
- Ballast water management and the Ballast Water Convention
- Environmental incident reporting and penalties
Delivery & Certification
Completed in one day, this course is suitable for all seafarers and port personnel. Participants receive a certificate of completion meeting flag state environmental awareness requirements.
