What you'll learn

The Port Facility Security Officer (PFSO) course prepares designated officers to develop, implement, and manage security measures at port facilities in line with the ISPS Code.

What You Will Learn

  1. PFSO roles, responsibilities, and legal obligations
  2. Conducting Port Facility Security Assessments (PFSA)
  3. Developing and maintaining the Port Facility Security Plan (PFSP)
  4. Liaison with Ship Security Officers, CSOs, and government authorities
  5. Security drills, exercises, and incident reporting procedures


Delivery & Certification

Three days of specialist instruction by certified ISPS Code trainers. Certification is recognized by the Nigerian Port Authority and international maritime administrations.
